Recording effects of Gayatri mantra

 Aum, my memories, ancestors’ memories and Gods memories 

That is where (everywhere) you (mother Gayatri in the form of savitur) are like a Sun

Ignite the intellect (through dhyana)

Uninitiated should not be given this mantra, so said my guru. I don’t know whether it is true or not. One should be careful enough and bear risk for returns.

By remembering mother Gayatri everywhere, 1st the peace will be established. Feeling of completeness starts to emerge. Slowly interest from own body withdraws. Realization that death is bound for this body get established. Beauty of outer space becomes more intense. As attachment from this world, ancestors world and gods world withdraw as they are shining by nothing but grace of mother or just presence or as it is, so these temporary phenomena starts to disappear. By giving up desires they become more beautiful. 

The most important effect is compassion for 1. Yourself (my memory) 2. For ancestors (their memory) and 3. gods which we often call at the time of agony but they don’t respond. Accepting the past and the future leads to do what is there to do now. It is how it is, Karma is ultimate for this body. This clean the stain of expectations from karma. 

Few Notes on my own:

Some say Gotra is direct related to generation and some say they were followers. I have no problem accepting both theories. It is not necessary to be born in any lineage but it is important to have Guru even if great Guru were listened by my forefathers I am glad they did.

As of fascinations towards Gayatri mantra, it is attributed to Vishwmitras. Dhananjaye Rishi is pravar member of this Rishi family or Set. First hymn of Rigveda is attributed to Madhuchandadas Vishwamitra who was believed to be children of Dhananjaye Rishi. May be it is there in memory of past. As the recent history of ours Nitupadhaya (Rijal) had performed Hoama (fire sacrifice ) and thus Homagrami were named. Hence, to access Rishis time memory is not needed too, as it is in the recent pass our grandfather ignited it again.

As to comparison with forefathers, I am not listing myself, but trying to find why this blessing. I am at max self declared Guru Gorakhnath’s follower who doesn’t follow his trainings.
