Searching Indra

Given the supremacy among Gods and First among Adityas, Indra holds the uppermost position and is praiseworthy by all account. That's why some people never get tired of defaming first one in name of Puranic and even Vedic myths. Neither they know anything about this culture nor they can know. By saying this I can't leave contractors of Dharma to say whatever they like in the name of this Supreme one. They are more Pakhandi than those who just ignore or attacking as they are seeking to know at surface.

Let us just count some important factors for worshiping Indra:

1. Anything that is of important can never be achieved by force, hence worshiping or bowing before is the best strategy as is the only way

2. Worshiping any deity is desirable to perfect that aspect of life such as fire for speech, ashiwns for good health, etc. (as I am not much concerned about these perfections, someone else will explain these areas)

3. But Indra being first and foremost among 33 Gods, it partakes everything from everyone. It does not control it just pour out bliss and be intoxicated in bliss as everything blissful is under the taste of Indra.

4. Any functions of any deity is perfectly attributable to them but Indra rejoice the honey out of it. Perfecting Indra or getting to know Indra increase the chances of seeking best juice from all fruits. It should not be however accounted as people who chant be Positive all the time.

5. All Upanishads seems not to forget this important one as bridge between Brahma (who is not even thinkable by words of Rishis) and human. Indra is the comrade who alone has tasted parts of that fruit. As we can only do/think/repeat/attempt what is our past experience or of someone else's, this first one among Adityas provide that tale of Brahma for us.

Hindu Jurisprudence- Smriti And some property law

I just don’t have the energy to write against the popular teaching (perhaps I have read the wrong books) that Hindu jurisprudence is contained within the Smriti, mainly the Manusmriti, and the property systems of the two schools — Mitakshara and Dayabhaga (I forget which region each school belongs to). But these are laws, not jurisprudence. I admit I do not know the subject of jurisprudence deeply — such a tragedy — but it seems to me these were laws made for the time and place according to the wisdom of the sages of that era. The Smriti writers themselves clearly said that the source of their understanding is the Veda. So, anyone who wants to understand exactly what truth Hindus hold must study the Vedas. Those who cannot may go through the Upanishads (major texts distilled by sages to teach the essence of the Jñāna part of the Veda). Those who still find that difficult may turn to the Mahabharata (which is in itself a “great battle” to understand), or they may study Mīmāṁsā, Nyāya-śā...
