Do whatever with Cows but Save "Gau Mata"

Some attack against Cow 1. It is a secular state and Cow should not be protected National identity of Nepal run Hindu atleast 1500 Years to Mandev's Changunarayan. It is no doubt whether this country is secular or otherwise its identity is shaped by its Hindu past and present and utter belief in Vedas. It is a civilization with reach culture and one of the center for Vedas (Mentioned in Parisisti of Atharvaveda) and Upanishad (Pasupatupanishad as one example). 2072 Constitution could not deny the national identity and sociological fact of our culture. 2. Cow is just another animal and Hindu themselves disregard Cows Hindu or rather underpreviliged and poor hindus could not make enough for Cows, given sufficient wealth no Hindus will ever disregard Cows. Some even comment they drink milk of cows and urine (what a childish argument), culture runs with deep philosophy behind them. Neither medical uses nor any emotional link is neccessary to prove the culture. 3. Cow is mother then bull must be your father Another low quality argument. It is lack of understanding of their own phislophy, hindus could not defend anything and run towards equally low quality defense. Cow has been regarded as Mother and Bull as vehicle for Shiva and in Vedic context it is also identified as Indra, a bull against Devas. Why should we protect Cows then: 1. Cow should not be protected it is Gau or Gau Mata who should be protected. They should not be protected because they provide milk to us and other benefits. This utilitarian argument leads to their death, as some may argue for benefits of their meat. Gau are revered in Vedas as knowledge. There are various stories about Vasiastha's Gau and attempt to steal by Indra or Viswamitra. It is knowledge that is symbolized by Gau. Gau as identified by Sri Aurobindo as radiance or conciousness or sevenfold principles of existence traced to Aditi. Aditi is mother Goddess of all Devatas and we Hindus consider ourselves as decendent of Devatas as directly linked to Bramha and his son Kashyap (as per Mahabharata). So, to kill a cow is to kill a mother, to kill a culture, to kill a civilization that bow down before knowledge and another historical fact of life around Cows, to sruvive with them. 2. She is linked with very foundation of Vedas, it is Rishis who milked cows and prepare Vedas so says Puranas, it is mother Aditi whose radiance has been captured by his children, that fact has been captured by honoring cows for generation to generation, it is the symbol of progeny, knowledge, life, connection of our civilization with knowledge. Lets see the brilliance of Vedas and Let us pray to that Divine Mother Aditi.
