 No-one but Gauri that Jagadambe again and again bestow these knowledge to mankind. I find solace in none but my beloved mother and mother of my forefathers  Vindhyabasini. May they all guide me to write something auspicious, something like honey and yet without any violence against truth.  I don’t know about the exact uses of cow and calves in Vedas. However I vividly remember a hymn where it is said like calves return back to their mother. In puranic context it is said that earth took the form of the mother cow and various beings milked and one of the things milked was Veda.  Let us see it like this, Cow is the  Bramhan or the ultimate, individual souls are calves, even narrowing further these senses are calves. These senses seek to enjoy knowledge like visual knowledge is food for eyes. Bramhan is the cow it provides milk of knowledge and these calves roam around to enjoy the fruit.  I wish to add dusk or called Godhuli Sanjh made by cows and its meaning, remembering or recalling those lines where sage Yagyavalkya won cows with gold in their horn in the court of Mithila Naresh Rajarshi Janak.  Xyz and time
